Are vaccinations required to attend the Lightship Summit?
Yes, all attendees are required to have at least one full series of vaccinations against COVID-19 (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, etc.). All Lightship Summit attendees are required to complete a short health survey through Crowdpass, which requires attendees to upload their vaccination records and answer health screening questions. Once you purchase your tickets to the summit, you will receive an email with your unique, confidential survey link.
What safety measures and precautions will the Lightship Summit implement?
All Lightship Summit staff and vendors will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be tested prior to the event.
We frequently review our health and safety protocols to adhere with local government regulations, industry best practices, and venue policies.
As the event nears, we will continue to monitor the situation carefully. The Lightship Summit team will communicate through email with any updates. This page will also be updated to the latest safety and health protocols.
What should I do if I’m not feeling well the day of the event?
If you’re not feeling well prior to the event, please do not come.
Are there any age restrictions?
All attendees must be 18+ to register for the Lightship Summit. Additionally, only attendees 21+ will be permitted at the After Hours event.

Where is the venue and how do I get there?
Address: City View at Metreon, 135 4th Street, #4000, San Francisco, CA 94103
The venue is located on the 4th floor, and there will be escalator and elevator access.
San Francisco Int’l Airport: Flying into SFO is the best option for non-local visitors. BART, San Francisco’s rapid transit system, is connected to the airport providing easy access to the event and many surrounding hotels. Ride shares like Uber, Lyft, taxi and rental car service are also available.
Oakland Airport: Out-of-state visitors may find better flight fares through Oakland Airport. BART, San Francisco’s rapid transit system, is connected to the airport providing easy access to the event and many surrounding hotels. Ride shares like Uber, Lyft, taxi and rental car service are also available.
Muni: Bus lines run often and stops are located throughout the city.
BART: San Francisco’s rapid transit system has a stop at Powell Street Station, which is a short walk to the event. Exit the station to 4th and Market Streets, turn right on 4th, and walk 1.5 blocks south to City View at Metreon on your left.
Caltrain: Take Caltrain from the south bay to Caltrain Station (Fourth & Townsend). From here you can walk north on 4th Street for half a mile to reach the venue. Alternatively, across 4th Street from Caltrain Station, you can board either the #15, #30 or #45 Muni lines and disembark at Third and Stevenson. From there, walk southwest on Mission Street for one block and turn left after the Target. City View at Metreon will be on your left.
By car: Our event venue, City View at Metreon, is located by major freeways 280 and 101. Street parking is limited but there are a number of parking garages located nearby.
